Adoption of the GO4-EV continues to increase

As Electric vehicles become more common place and vehicle makers each produce their version, the assortment of EV’s and NEV’s continues to increase. However, none have proven themselves a 100% viable solution for the day to day rigors that is task specific fleet usage. The team at Westward Industries has changed this problem in a big way.

Three years ago the team at Westward set out to respond to the requests of its customers and create a world class all electric fleet specific vehicle. The criteria was that it had to perform as well if not better that the proven GO4-Gas, This undertaking was no easy task but after years of engineering the GO4-EV was born. Since initial deployments a little over two years ago EV sales have increased. The majority of purchases have been on the West Coast,  a few key customers to date have been: LAX Airport, Portland, City of Berkeley, City of Santa Cruz, and most notably City of Santa Monica, CA.

The City of Santa Monica led the way with the adoption of the GO4-EV after initially purchasing 4 units a year and a half ago. After extensively testing the viability, the GO4-EV far surpassed any and all other electric vehicles that the City had tested previously and the City. Subsequently the city issued a PO for 23 - GO4-EV’s! Production of these units has already begun and the GO4-EV’s will continue to prove to be a worthy addition to the highly successful GO4-Gas that the City already deploys. So whether Gas or EV is your preference, Westward Industries and its talented group of dealerships across the country are ready to facilitate your fleet vehicle needs.
